EN: A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to discover the new perfume by Narciso Rodriguez, Narciso, at Gotta Perfumeries. They gave us a presentation of the history behind this new product that I am willing to share with you all.
After the success of for her, the designer launched a new perfume, Narciso, which keeps the characteristic masculine fragrance with a base of vetiver. This new perfume is combined with woody and musk scents softened by amber. The vetiver along with black and white cedars are mixed with floral touches of gardenia and the Bulgarian rose.
All this creates a seductive and feminine fragrance.
The perfume is named after the designer, but behind this name there is a hidden love story with the mystery of attraction. He connected it with the myth of Narcissus:
"There is so much history behind and so many romantic tales inspired on him" Narciso Rodriguez.
The myth continues when he explains the cream colour of the bottle:
"reproduces the colour of a stone that I found in Cyprus' coast, in a visit to Aphrodite's birth place" N.R.
The dominant colours of his collections are always black, white and nude which are reflected in the colours that he included in his newest perfume.
The shape of the bottle is very minimalistic and it expresses his fascination towards cubes:
"The idea was to find dual shapes that merged in a precious object" N.R.
But he hasn't forgotten to include his main concern in the fashion industry which is to give women the possibility to feel elegant and sensual at the same time.
"The present sensuality in my work is due, in the most part, to my latin heritage" N.R.
Narciso designed an autobiographical perfume which is meant to represent the elegance and sensuality of the everyday woman.
ES: Hace unas semanas tuve la oportunidad de descubrir el nuevo perfume de Narciso Rodriguez, Narciso en Gotta Perfumerías. Organizaron una presentación en la que nos contaron la historia que hay detrás de este nuevo producto y que estoy desando contaros.
Después del éxito de for her, el diseñador ha lanzado un nuevo perfume, Narciso, que continua apostando por una fragancia masculina con una base de vetiver. El nuevo perfume, esta combinado con amaderados y almizcle y suavizados con ámbar. El vetiver junto con el cedro blanco y negro estan mezclados con notas florales de gardenia y la rosa de Bulgaria.
El resultado es una fragancia seductora y femenina.
El nombre del perfume es el mismo que el del diseñador, pero detrás de él se esconde una historia de amor unida al misterio de la atracción. Él la conectó con el mito de Narciso:
"Hay tanta historia detrás del mito y tantos relatos románticos sugeridos por él"

El mito continua cuando explica el color crema del frasco:

Los colores que dominan en sus colecciones son siempre el negro, el blanco y el nude que además están reflejados en el nuevo perfume.
La forma minimalista del frasco expresa su fascinación hacia los cubos:

Pero no se ha olvidado de incluir en su perfume su mayor interés en la industria de la moda que es dar a las mujeres la posibilidad de sentirse elegantes y sensuales al mismo tiempo.

Narciso diseñó un perfume autobiográfico con el que quiere representar la elegancia y sensualidad de una mujer corriente.
