TRAVEL | MALAGA

In my trip to Andalucia, I also visited Malaga. I was very excited to see the beach especially because it was a long time since the last time. I must say that sitting on the sand and staring at the ocean has a relaxing effect and I didn't want to leave! While we were in Malaga, we tried to visit the Picasso museum since it was Sunday and you can go for free but the queue was sooo long that it wasn't worth it since we were only staying for less than two days. So we spent the day walking around the most important streets like Calle Larios, and visiting the Alcazaba de Malaga, the cathedral, mirador de Gibralfaro and the market. We went during carnival season so the streets in Calle Larios were beautifully decorated with lights and a huge purple carpet. Walking through that street with the lights on at night was like going back to Christmas! In this trip to Andalucia, a new obsession began with fried aubergine and molasses, so good. I will have them for dinner tonight. I hope to go back someday to Malaga and enjoy the beach and its great weather and of course eat fried aubergine.
